Trouble shooting

• Check good batteries are installed in the receiver – and are the correct way around NOTE : As per the instructions, rechargeables can not be used - At 1.2v each they only provide 80% of the required voltage.
   
• Check receiver power button is depressed... in   (on)
   
• Does red light on receiver flash when transmitter test button is pressed ?
   
• If you are using the "H" type plug adaptor, try reversing the connection (and thus the polarity).

The battery is user replaceable by removing the single cross head screw on the underside of the transmitter.  Ensure the replacement battery is inserted in the correct orientation.

Transmitter batteries should last several months dependant on usage, however can drain quicker if left attached to certain cameras (e.g. Polaroid passport camera) or if the test button is depressed whilst the transmitter is stuffed into a gadget bag.
 

All versions of the receiver take two AAA 1.5volt batteries - Commonly available from Boots, Jessops, Maplin etc - Also sold as LR03, UM4, SP16, HP16

• Do not use rechargables !

NiCads and NimHs operate at 1.2 volts - Alkalines operate at 1.5volts

The batteries are user replaceable by removing the slide cover on the underside of the receiver.  Ensure the replacement batteries are inserted in the correct orientation.

Receiver batteries should last several months dependant on usage, providing they are switched off after usage.  Drain can occur if the power button is actuated whilst the receiver is stuffed into a gadget bag.
